I became a christian few months after my brother. His life had really been changed. When he was telling me about Jesus, I thought it was good... for him, then when I attended his water baptism, I was touched by the joy of the people who were baptized.

My brother thought right away that it would be good if I could meet other christian deafs. I could meet a deaf group and we had prayer meetings and bible studies in sign-language. The person in charge was hearing and knew sign-language fairly well.

Sometimes, we attended Sunday services in a hearing church or went to gatherings. We also had week-end or vacation camps. One day, during one of these camps, a deaf pastor came to visit us. It was extraordinary! His messages touched me deeply. He knew how communicate the Gospel to the deaf because he was one himself.

My brother has visited deaf churches abroad and he told me how they worked.

I pray that soon we too will have a church in our language : french sign-language.
